Extra Virgin Olive Oil Donna Elaia
Donna Elaia is an extra virgin olive oil made from a blend of two Sicilian cultivars, Nocellara del Belice and Biancolilla, typically harvested in October and November when they are still green, thus ensuring a low-acidity oil. The result is an oil with a bold flavor that is well balanced between bitter and spicy components, the perfect compromise between sophistication and versatility.
The oil, obtained by cold pressing, has an intense yellow-green color with slightly golden hues. On the nose, one perceives the almond and aromatic herb fragrances of Biancolilla harmoniously combined with distinct notes of olive and green tomato from Nocellara.
On the palate, it is intensely fruity, aromatic with a slight spicy note.
